Ethics from Farm to Table Seminar

The "From Soil to Table: Ethics Seminar," organized in collaboration between Hacettepe University's Soil Ethics Application and Research Center and the Agricultural and Food Ethics Association, will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Hall in Hacettepe University's Beytepe Campus.

The seminar will address topics such as soil, agriculture, food security, sustainability, campus farming, traceability, child labor, and ecological responsibility within an ethical framework. The event, featuring contributions from academics and experts from various universities and relevant institutions, aims to create a platform for discussing ethical responsibilities in the process from soil to table.

Following the opening speeches, two sessions will be held; these sessions will evaluate soil biodiversity, food security, campus farming within the scope of sustainable design, traceability, child labor, and ecological responsibility in agricultural and food systems.

All interested parties are invited to attend.
