Importance and Reason

The challenges brought by urbanization and industrialization threaten especially human health, in addition to the nature, environment, and ecological life. Architecture works in coordination with many industries and production technologies that cause climate change and environmental pollution, which are the leading ones. Moreover, the architecture is responsible for designing the interior and environmental spaces where people working and entertaining. Therefore, it is directly related to the human life and its environs while having a direct impact on human health and the natural environment. Hence, the ergonomic suitability of the designed structures has a direct impact on human health, the environment and the climate, these structures are able to work with passive systems or to be air-conditioned with natural methods, together with the properties of the building construction materials. These items also form the basis of Sustainable Architecture, which starts from the sources that is obtained, the methods of construction, and the damage it causes to the environment in the process of obtaining and transportation. Sustainable architecture is also influenced by the hidden harmful or toxic substances that are released into the interior spaces or the atmosphere during and after the use, together with the amount of waste it creates. Even when evaluated in terms of materials, it is seen that nature and environmental pollution have primary importance in human health and ecological life even for the continuity of world life, therefore, necessary studies should be given importance immediately.
